Masuwe Lodge is a laid-back tented safari destination situated on the Masuwe estate, approximately 20 minutes drive from Victoria Falls Airport, and 40 minutes from Zambias Livingstone Airport. The lodge is easily reached by car and the town of Victoria Falls is a mere 10km away. The lodge offers a meet-and-greet service and guests are comfortably transferred to the property. The service includes customs and immigration admin where relevant. Self-drive options are also available. The 1 000 acre private property borders on the Zambezi National Park, but is not fenced in - making for great game viewing - as ‘ visitors ’ from the park grace the area on a regular basis. The nearby Masuwe River also ensures a good ‘supply’ of game during the dryer seasons when the animals have fewer waterholes to choose from.

The main building houses the bar, dining area and the lounge. This open-sided, thatched building has its own teak veiwing deck and offers beautiful views over the lush bush. The lodge also has a great swimming pool with comfy loungers for guests who would like to ‘ chill ’ by the poolside with a refreshing drink, go for a welcome ‘ dip ’ or read a book while working on their tan.

The Masuwe Lodge is a great tented retreat in a beautiful natural area. The game viewing is superb and the on-site lions and elephants make the place extra interesting.
