Astor House
Guest House

The name ' Astor House '  is derived from William Waldorf Astor who in 1890 left America to settle in England with his large fortune. In 1903, he bought Hever Castle - once the home of Anne Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII. Being small, he decided to create a Tudor Village adjacent to the original castle.

During our travels in England, Ivan and I visited Hever Castle in Kent and henceforth, after months of renovations, builders ' rubble and alterations, our once forlorn and neglected " Cinderella " has blossomed into Astor House, our little bit of Kent in Durban North!

Astor House offers you total comfort, convenience and privacy in one of our seven en-suite double bedrooms.

Astor House is now able to offer mini-conferences for up to 18 delegates in our brand new conference facility in a totally private and secluded venue.
